My 95 is driving me nuts. The quad idles great, but when you run it and go to shift, the rpms won't come down except very slowly. The cable is fine, the slide drops like a rock. The carb has been thoroughly cleaned. Any advice before I switch to a later model carb? Or is it the carb? Thanks!
My 1995 Wolverine 350. The grandkids call it the tow truck. Came stock with a pinkish color seat, that had to go! Installed a warn 424, what a differnece it makes. Wouldn't trade this one for any other.
I've seen and tried many fixes for these carb joints that crack. The latest one is still going strong. I don't have the size, but take your joint to Lowes or harware store. Find a piece of metal conduit pipe that almost slides inside. Machine it down with emory cloth, coat it with permatex and...
There are a few Warn 424's out there that fit the Kawasaki Prarie. DIY or a machine shop can shorten the shaft and you're in business....they be awesome!!

I gave up looking for a 424 for my 95 wolverine. I bought one for a Kawasaki Prarie...shortened the shaft and it's awesome. Still some new ones out there for the KAW.

The Warn 424 is awesome. I bought one for a Kaw Prarire. Almost identical to yamaha. Just shorten the shaft, watch the exaust clearance. Machine shop or DIY. I see some Kaw 424's are still out there
