if the lever isn't engaging either gear it would act the same as putting it in neutral no matter what gear you are actually in.. if you are familiar with how a 4x4 truck operates then its the same as putting the transfer case in neutral

before everyone calls the people on ebay liars you should know that some late model '01 doesn't have the remote reservoir.. a friend of mine owns an '01 that has attached resevoir my guess is it was different factories switched sooner or something

as far as I know its never been completely apart and its been a constant problem since iv owned it... I would guess I personally have 2000 miles on it over the last 6years I made sure all the gear marks are lined up correctly to TDC at this point im thinking its a bad bearing in the engine...

as i said all mounts tight and in good condition both top ones are brand new as they where cracked... vibration remained the same after replacing them.

for cheap paint you can buy BBQ paint.. personally I use Automotive High Heat paint it costs 4x more but honestly you get what you pay for(in the case of paint typically more expensive stuff goes on smoother/doesn't chunk or run)

for your weight id replace it with a 2001 Raptor 660 shock... ONLY a 2001 660 shock will work as after 2001 they have an attached reservoir and wont fit. The ones that will fit look like this... the ones that wont look like this...
