Trail Report: The trails are awesome!! The set-up is a little different than I originally thought it was going to be. Their is one big loop instead of 3 smaller loops but is still all one-way. We started on the "easy" trail. It was anything but easy; I'de say a 5 out of 10. It was about 17 miles...
This ride will be held on sunday, June 2nd just outside of the town of Hancock, NY 13783. It is being held on 2,500 acres of private property that is NOT open to the public before or after this event. Ride will consist of one-way loop trails that will start and end in the parking area. Trails...
Anyone going on this ride? It's in NEPA, right on the NY border. It's 20-some mile trail ride to benefit the local fire dept. $20 entry fee includes food after. No alcohol and helmets required. The fire dept has more details on their website.
We went last year and it was a good time. Tight...
Haven't been on this site in awhile but may be able to help you. I have 2 bone stock (except both have 424's) Wolv's; both 350's, one 03 and one 04. Mine has 25" Duro tires and my wife's has stock 23's. Her's seems a teeny, tiny bit quicker out of the hole than mine but barely noticable. I think...
Let me know your plans Ace, maybe we can meet up for some riding or at least a beer, lol!! My group is easy to spot for a Wolverine fan; 2 nearly identical black 2003 350's!! We are staying about a half hr away from the Timberview and plan on starting there
One month away, anyone plan on riding this event this yr? Last yr was our first time and it was awesome fun. We have expanded our Wolverine family now with the addition of a mint 03 for my wife and we talked a few more friends into riding. Low snow at Tug Hill this yr so even my daughter will be...
Did anyone end up going? If you did, what did you think? It never rained a drop till we were back, loaded up, and fed. Perfect riding day and we had an absolute blast
If anyone plans to be in Hancock on saturday, my buddy and I were thinking of doing a "lazy" ride that afternoon/ evening. Mostly dirt roads, nothing that will tear up machines or riders. Frequent stops for eats and drinks. Thinking we could all meet in Lakewood, Pa 18439. It's about 10 miles...
Muddy, yes it is ok to pay the same day but it has to be in cash if your doing that. I would recommend you get there a little early though; we didn't pre-reg last year and it took a some time to get through the line.
Just to update some info: I was in contact with the guy in charge of the event and camping is available starting saturday 13th in the afternoon. Their is a $10.00 per vehicle charge.
You must be 16yrs old or more to ride. Passengers can be any age but quad has to be set up for it (stock or...
I know, a long drive after a good ride sucks! We drove 10.5hrs to Majestic and only rode for 3.5hrs!! Was good ridin' though, thanks Aces for the tip on that place. Without pushing it too much, you could do the ride and be on your way home by 3pm I would think. I believe Rochester is about 3hrs...
The camping at the Firemans park is free. You can bring beer for before and after but none is allowed on the actual ride. The town has a few diners, a pizza place, chinese, Sub way, and a McD's. Short driving distance but can't ride to any and their is nothing on the trail except last year some...
