My '87 left lower ball joint came loose and ruined the a-arm threads. I have ball joints; can I only use 87&88 lower a-arms? Any good sources? TIA!

Very good! I have two '87s. It also looks like the tire spec was one inch narrower in 89+,and then went to 20" rear for the raptor? Any idea why the a-arm castor and mount location change? How about tire spec change?

I see the two bolts inside the left case are accessable without removing the stator. Can I then split the case without removing the stator?
