    I kno it's different but I had a boat do that to me last summer ran great untill under a load I replaced everything rebuilt carb etc only thing I didn't replace was the new coil previous owner put on finally gave up n tried another new coil solved all my problems

    Ok thanks Ya I haven't looked at it yet it's a 400 Yamaha but he told me his bolts are about an inch long so if I remember right that sounds about maxed out in hole to me what you think

    I have a friend that has a quad he noticed his timing tensioner kept comeing lose after he drove it he pulled bolts out to find threads were gone in jug I told him we can retap them and it should work and be ok but what do you guys think the chances of it lasting is gonna be and what size tap...

    And this may be a dumb question to but why are you guys keep asking about the clearence issues when a plus 2 is way less then a +7 and they clear ?

    My piston with head off comes flush to top of jug with head off I have not had any issues so far as for hitting piston on plug or valves. I was very nervous tho when first putting back together I turned it over by hand with head bolts loose to make sure it was going to be ok
