ok guys here is one for you!!!!!!!! the intake boot, what it its soul perpuse is it to take the vibrations from the engine, or to reduce the heat from the engine. im was thinking about machining a intake adapter to replace the rubber boot and make it a little longer to get it a little farther...

hey guys :) ok got my quad all back together. took out that megacycles cam and put my stock cam back in. still stock carb. new plug, oil and filter, k&n filter all bolts are torq. to spec. it starts greats it fires right up but when its warming up it smokes. it dont smell like burning oil ...

no.... but i would like to replace everything on this quad with stock or aftermarket. well thats my goal.

hi guys ok i was looking on e-bay at cdi boxs.... i see they have " hot shot cdi boxs" "high rev cdi boxs" etc. is a stock cdi box fine? would puting one of them one make a diff. or would i have to upgrade stator and coil?? :slayer:

i'm looking for a stage 1 hot cam dont have a lot of money to go out a buy a new one at this time..... i have a megacycle .450 cam i would do some trading with and or other parts if you need them just ask me and i will go look and see if i got what you need....

intake .06 to.100 exhaust .160 to .200 where it the best gap???? im putting back in my stovk cam for now untill i can get a hotcam #1..... can when i get it can i use that same gap??? :loco:
