Looked there also but just saw the whole assemblies listed. Alex had one also but am definitely working on a budget at the moment. Thanks for the help though!
Yeah, I really wanted to find one but the yamaha dealer said they didn't carry any parts of that assembly. Apparently even the woodruff key was oddly shaped and not like the others. Hopefully it won't take too much of a beating.
No gaskets today unfortunately but luckily the rear tire was only $8.00 to fix due to a bead sealing issue. I have to say that tower hill tire in boonsboro is awesome for all the locals in my area.
We run through michaux on the state Forrest roads with the Jeep club and that's always fun. I used to live in waynesboro and would head up that way frequently.
It looks like if I leave the starter cog on bolted to the crank, the stator cover might fit over it. The dealer quoted like $80 for the bearing, dust shield and plate. Also mine doesn't have the decomp lever since it is a '91. They're selling the pull start on ebay for like $100. That's a...
I though about keeping the pull start but considering that I am 6'8" and about 300 lbs and don't think I could pull it fast enough to actually start the engine, I really don't see a point in it. I literally picked up the quad with the pull start rope.
I'm still trying to locate the dust...
Apparently someone had added a pull start to my Warrior at some point in time and I would like to remove it. I really would like to sell the starter gear the mounts to the crank and pull start as an assembly, however, I noticed that the oil seal around the cover wouldn't seal without the gear...
Day 2 and the motor is back in and started hooking things back up. The quad is shifting without any issues but of course, now the right rear tire is going flat. I bought a new oil drain plug from the dealer and managed to remove the stripped one without damaging the case. Looks like I am on...
I appreciate the offer but I think I have the problem fixed. I ended up purchasing a woodruff key assortment from Advance Auto and created a new key to work with it...
It's a very portable setup... lol
Hopefully I can get everything cleaned up and pressure wash the frame and engine by the weekend. I have a used stock header pipe on the way along with gaskets and stator cover. Someone apparently decided to replace a good chunk of the exhaust with flex pipe...
