    I ended up pulling half of the threads out of one of the bolt holes that holds the exhaust valve cover on. I have asked a few people and they say you can't re thread it. Any suggestions would help?

    Bearing carrier-ya gotta look!!!

    like i said before, A bearing blew up and the balls cut those grooves.i tried to use the same carrier and ended up blowing those bearings out in less than a month. so good luck to ya.

    Valve adjustment screw and nut

    Somehow when I did my rebuild I lost the intake valve, adjustment screw and lock nut. If someone has a cracked head or something I would greatly appreciate it.

    It can be welded. Mine actually is in the same place an it works fine. On another note, to check to see if it is in time you need to line that "T" up then take your cam gear cover off and look for the line on it and look for the notch on the head. If it doesnt "tick" when its runin then it...

    Ahh bad reading on a torque wrench reading and just over torqued it. An the top motor mount being missing for about a year coulda done something to.

    Well got my new cases in so I tore into the old one. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Oh and just for thought, I rode it with it like this for about five miles on paved road. Cant believe it didnt do anymore damage.
