I'm actually a fan of the color scheme. I wanna take it all apart this winter and clean everything up, try and restore the plastic to its original shine. Just to go and get it all muddy again:evilface:

Was able to get a little bit of riding in this COLD weekend. My cousin and his Recon on the left.

Probably not recommended, being that is peels pretty easy. Anything you ride in will tear it right up first run.

So this past weekend I thought the warrior was finally ready to make its maiden voyage. Everything was good, got it gassed up and set out. About 25 minutes into riding it started spitting a bit, backfired a couple times, and shut off. I let it sit for a little while and tried starting it. It...

We got lucky enough that when the chain did fall, it was still caught on the bottom gear. It was quite the task to pull it up, a magnet stick wasn't quite strong enough. Ended up getting some wire and hooking it. Wired it right to the frame when we got it out.

I'm in the process of that right now. Almost lost the timing chain doing it.

If the machine was ridden for a period of time after that bolt snapped, could that have anything to do with low compression? Or caused something to break/warp anything?

So I just picked up a 96 warrior for pretty cheap last weekend. I was told it needed a new set of rings and to remove and replace an exhaust bolt that snapped in the cylinder head. The guy told me it's got low compression because the bad rings and the exhaust. Are there any other possibilities...
