Give us an idea on how it's running when you say it's 'erratic', fluctuating at idle? High or low idle? dieing out, or something in high rpm, etc.. We might be able to give you an idea of what it could be

#13 I believe, the link is for a year 2000 because that's what I have, Id double check the part numbers but depending on your year it's probably the same.
Yes, it no longer has the same power that it used to, thats what I meant when I was saying sluggish. honestly I think you could be right, a slipping clutch issue could be it, but I'm still new to atvs so I wouldn't really know for sure
For instance when I have the bike in 1st gear with the...
Doesn't seem to be using all of its power through each gear, like once it gets in the top end of the gear it's sluggish. buddy of mine seems to think it's a carb issue. The plug seems to be indicating that it's running right(not to lean not to rich)
I had bought a zoom zoom carb acouple...
I got the tusk off road axle and new carrier bearings. Had a hell of a time getting the old one out of the carrier but prevailed. Installed the tusk axle and bearings/seals and this is where i run into an issue..
Ive got everything installed per the instructions that comes with the axle (I...
Thanks, ordered up a tusk g-force and new carrier bearings and seals. Now to just figure out this adjustment deal with the axle and get her in there, the good fun begins! Really stoked cause A buddy of mine has a g-force on his raptor and it looks real nice and sturdy, should hopefully never...
Okay so I jacked the back of the bike up and took both rear wheels off, and put it in 1st and let the axle spin and it's without a doubt bent. I'll post a vid alittle later.
So I guess my options are to try and straighten it, which Ill never actually get it straight, find a used stock one...
Just another quick think to note is everything is tight and sound in the rear, chain is tightened up right, none of the bolts are loose, and the other side is completely straight which I would think if the axle is bent both wheels would be rotating funny I would think
Hello all,
Warrior has been running great and getting ridden hard since I fixed all my carb issues and added some mods, but can't last forever right?
Yesterday rolling up to a buddies one of them noticed my rear left wheel rotating crooked, started looking into it, and it seems to be...
It was all in the adjustments, got it all figured out and rode hard all afternoon yesterday, the clutch lever pulls like a hot knife through butter, and add in the snappy shifting from the msr yz250f shifter and it ride like a whole new bike. With the new carb and jetting it rides smoother in...
Yeah reading through the cable swap sticky it seems like it was mixed on weather it was quick and easy or mind ******* people, pardon the sailor speak, but overall it seemed like most people had no problem, we'll see, I was beginning to think lastnight it was just me, I'm havin a buddy who rides...
Okay thanks for the clarity man, I'll be heading over to work on it after work today and I'll post some pics and let ya know how it works out, I'm thinking your right it's just a matter of adjustment, hoping at least haha
Okay so bike starts and seems to run fine, didnt really try giving her a good rev to see if it goes through the whole rpm range but idled fine, so I'm assuming wiring is correct?
To clarify the 2 wires coming out of the stock perch..
One is the clutch switch and one is then PB lead, correct...
So downsized pilot to stock 42.5 and its running good now, got the yz250f shifter and strapped that on, got all the parts to do the clutch perch/ lever and raptor 350 cable. Got everything on but can't seem to get the clutch to engage/disengage, Im thinking it had something to do with the wires...
