    There should be a screw-in plug on the top of your engines side cover (shifter side) That has a slot in it for a straight screw driver. Take that out, and slowly rotate the engine while looking inside the hole that the plug was in. You are stareing at the flywheel. There should be a "T" on...

    FLYWHEEL INSTALLATION???????????

    Im getting ready to do this too. So let me get this straight. The bolt that goes in the end of the crank will press the flywheel back on? Will it not strip out the threads on the crank with all that force?

    starter clutch help

    No you dont have to take the allen screws off. The center bolt is the only thing that holds it on. You have to buy a flywheel puller to get it off there, cause its pressed on. The allen screws hold the starter clutch to the flywheel, it will come off as an assembly.

    Yea i got the crank and balancer gears lined up dot to dot, so everything should be good there. Right now i've got everything put back together except for the clutch and the flywheel. Im waiting on both of those things to come in the mail, should be tomorrow. My starter clutch was going bad...

    Thanks a lot for the tips. I got the cases split this weekend, cleaned everything, and sweated the crank and new bearings into the cases. Finally got everything back together, just have to put the stuff back in the side cases (clutch, crank/balancer gears, oil pump, and flywheel) Overall...

    Im getting ready to replace the crank on my 2003 warrior. Whenever im ready to split the two halves apart, which side is the crank and transmission going to stay in? The half that houses the flywheel, or the half that houses the clutch? Any other tips or tricks are greatly appreciated...
