yea it happens all the time. no matter how long iv been riding. and i did drain all the old oil with gas in it. i actually noticed this problem with the clutch/tranny in the middle of the summer just been swamped with school. but now christmas is here i might be buying her some new parts...
i was running yamalube but i found out after letting it sit for a while that i was getting gas in the oil and changed to a thicker oil i cant remember what exactly now tho. im trying to get her back to good running condition......i fixed the problem with gas getting in the oil lol just reread...
ok got the oil/gas problem fixed now im still just stuck with the whole it wont start thing. i tryed to short out the solenoid but i had no luck and im pretty sure i was doing it right. any other ideas?
thanks for your honesty. i know the actual starter will get locked up sometimes and il have to tap on it with a hammer. also i have little bits of aluminum in my oil and i know its nothing like piston or anything like that cuz its not smoking at all. every where i see the starter is like 200...
I know its been talked about before on here but i searched and can not find it any where. So i was wondering what all is needed to convert to a pull starter. and if it is cheaper than buying a new electric starter.
