Sorry didnt take any pics

I did it recently and it seems to hold up pretty well. I used flat black header paint (the 1500 degree paint) and clear coated it with the clear engine paint. I cleaned it and scuffed it w/ a wire brush on a drill 1st. Next I taped off all the areas i did not want painted lookes perfect.

Well I put the edel brock carb on today and got it tuned it perfect didnt take very long either. All I can say is WOW!!!! Tons of lowend power and throttle response I can wheelie in 2nd and hit 59mph via garmin gps!!!! The best part is I havent even broke the engine in yet so it should loosen up...

So considering the fact that I have larger tires (25" mudlites) that I would feel more power and be more satisfied with edelbrock and the 88 grind vs the edelbrock and stock cam?

How does the stage 2 compare to a Web 88 grind for low/midrange

With this carb and the upgrades that I already mentioned how much HP do you think I have? Oh almost forgot to go along with the other upgrades I had the head ported and polished. Is there any thing else that can be done to get more power beside stroking it?

Awesome! I bought the carb off of ebay for $150.00 it looks to be in near perfect condition it came off of a 04 warrior so the jetting should already be pretty close right?

How difficult are the edelbrock carbs to get tuned in? Will the edelbrock help gain any power on the topend? The wolverine is a beast on the trail I dominate all of my buddies on their ranchers ect so I dont want to take any thing away from the trailability.

Besides the intake/airbox boot issues would there be anything else i would need mechanically speaking? How would the stock jetting of the raptor be with the wolverine in terms of a starting point?

No the manual that i have says nothing about play in the rockers. However after checking them again they do not wiggle from side to side but only left to right slightly. Thanks for the help I just wanted to make sure that I did not need to replace them before I put my cam in.

I have the cyl head off of my 2004 wolverine and I can wiggle the rockers slightly with my finger. Is this normal or should I replace the rockers and or the rocker shafts? I am about to install the Webb 88 cam and springs just want to mke sure every thing is good.
