    Quiet Muffler w/Spark Arrestor

I ended up getting a stock muffler from a scrap yard and then adding a Kolpin stealth. Nice and quiet now :). Here's a vid of me playing around with the Kolpin and the aftermarket muffler. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqsT1mKR4GI&list=UUCkFvp5kF8-jyrFqBd0iHog&index=20&feature=plcp

    Muddy ride

Some buds and I screwing around in a local play area. Almost rolled it on one little hill when I fell into a rut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un6NFDlcOpY&feature=plcp&context=C3e245f1UDOEgsToPDskIy_0lBDfTrk73jcr_Dmvhe

Thanks :). It wasn't quite as dark as it looked in the vid (except for when we all turned off our lights at one point!). I had my lights on low and could see fine. I think maybe I need a helmet mounted light for shooting video in low light like that. I'll have to do some experimentation.

    New Wolverine Owner

An update: I've worked through all the things that needed fixed or replaced. I've also swapped out the loud exhaust for a stock muffler and a Kolpin Stealth 2.0 system. It running great and I'm really enjoying it, even though I haven't got much riding in yet. I am working on some trails in the...

    Quiet Muffler w/Spark Arrestor

Hi everyone, can anyone point me to a good aftermarket muffler that will be super quiet and have a USFS approved spark arrestor?

WTT: My White Bros R4 for a quiet muffler

My 02 Wolverine has a White Brothers R4 muffler. I'd like something more quiet that won't piss off the neighbors. Anybody have something they'd be interested in trading? Or, does anyone have a stock muffler they would sell me?

    Running too rich!!!!

Did you do something to increase the air flow? Why did you put in larger jets?

    fuel/air mixture screw location?

I took the carb apart today and cleaned everything including the jets. Put it back together and its running perfectly. Smooth idle, no dying or backfiring. Give it a try.

It was on there when I got it, sorry. In other news...I got the wheel bearings and CV boot done yesterday. No more squeaking brakes :). Gonna play with the carb and maybe the rear MC today. Tires are still holding air and it starts right up with the new battery.

    fuel/air mixture screw location?

I'm no carb expert, but the way Ive always done it is adjust the idle a little higher than normal then turn the screw out so its idling good. Then turn it in until it starts to run like crap, and then back out to where it just smooths out again. Then turn your idle back down. Mine is doing...

    fuel/air mixture screw location?

Bottom of the carb, right in the middle on the front side. If you've never messed with it before there may be a brass plug over the screw.

    Need help with CV boot

Thanks. I ended up putting the shaft in a vice and hitting it with a BFH just to see what would happen. Popped right off :). Everything's back in now and working great. Next up...fix the lean idle.

    Need help with CV boot

I'm in the middle of replacing the front wheel bearings and wanted to take care of a torn outer CV boot while I had it apart. Now that I'm in to it I can't see how I can get the boot on from the outer end. Do you have to get it on from the inner side? Do you have to do an inner boot to do the...

Rear master cylinder rebuild kit for my 02?

I can push the fluid through the bleeder and caliper to the MC. I cant get fliud to move through the MC. So the bleeder is fine and I'm assuming the caliper is ok.

Rear master cylinder rebuild kit for my 02?

I did some work on my rear brakes today. I haven't been able to get them to build any pressure or bleed. I reverse bled the brakes with a syringe through the rear bleeder and can get fluid out of the banjo bolts up to the rear master cylinder. I'm guessing that the problem is my master cylinder...

Hello. I just picked up a 2002 Wolverine 350. I've been riding dirtbikes for 26 years but this is my first ATV. I got it for what seems like a good price, but it needs a bit of TLC. It had been sitting for 2 years when I got it. So far I've changed all the fluids, put some slime in the rear...
