Sneaky 401cc stroker- the easy way and more.

I read on the Wolverine BigBear Gear Swap thread that you have the motor in and it sounds like it works great, good to hear! Did you happen to keep a note of your measurements during the build? I'm still planning my build on paper and it would be nice if I had some accurate numbers to work off...

Sneaky 401cc stroker- the easy way and more.

Ah, that's smart. I was thinking I would have to submerse the entire piston in alcohol or a thin oil and check displaced volume before and after, either that or some crazy math formula that I could probably never figure out ;) I have been trying to figure what the best compression ratio for...

Sneaky 401cc stroker- the easy way and more.

It occurred to me last night that the thicker head gasket might effect the squish area but that's not a topic I'm very familiar with. Sneaky 401cc stroker- the easy way and more.

Excellent post, thanks for taking the time to share! I have a 2004 Wolverine that is getting pretty tired, it's time for a rebuild. If money were no object I would send my motor to FST and have them install a 446 kit along with several other mods...but I live in Canada and with the weak...

    Wolverine BigBear Gear Swap.

Holy Schmidt, you have lots on your plate that is for sure! The front diff swap looks great, much cleaner than the Warn 424 and probably works better too, nicely done! The Warn kit is pretty simple but the ball and detent mechanism can be problematic once it's worn. You had mentioned...

    Wolverine BigBear Gear Swap.

I already have a Warn 424 select kit installed and I'm planning to do a mild bore along with a BB400 crank as well. I'm currently in the planning stages and figuring out the specifics. I have read your Sneaky 401cc Stroker thread several times and have been researching that side of things as...

    Wolverine BigBear Gear Swap.

I apologize for resurrecting an old thread, I'm currently in the planning stages of rebuilding my 2004 Wolverine and this caught my attention. I wanted to do the BB400 4th and 5th gear swap, but this is intriguing. @lucas98wolvy: I have attached a link to a parts diagram for the Wolvy...
