    Starting Issues!!

If you hear a click when you press the starter button, it sounds like the solenoid is working. Its possible to be bad, but a click is a good sign. Do you have a multimeter? I would check for voltage at the starter when you are trying to start it. You did say the starter works though...

    Old vs new

I own both. An '00 350 and an '06 450. Short of it.. The 450 is garbage.. Sorry to say it, I race the 4x4 lites class in Atlantic Grand Prix, and some GNCC's, and I've just been replacing parts on the 450 left and right (3 tie rods, 3 a-arms, wheel bearings, 2 steering stems, and just...

    Douglas rockstar wheels?

my bad, I gotta enable notifications.. lol. I did put the 450 stockers on the 350, and loved them till they were no longer good. Radials are really nice, and give good side bite in the corners. I just cant justify spending that kind of money on tires that I trash in a season. I have...

    Front wheel bearings

I just had to change a set on my '06.. Read about the hammer and punch, tried it, got tired. Then I got an idea. Use my air chisel!!! 5 minutes later, both were out.. Easiest way to do it if you ask me! and the idea of grinding the old bearing down to hit the new one in with...

    Steering damper / stabilizer?

Hey, does anybody know if there are any stabilizers or dampers (Elxa, Precision, etc) available for the 450 wolvy? I'm racing mine in a XC series, and all the 2WD's have them. BOY does it make a difference. Only problem is most of theirs are vehicle specific. At $300-$500, I don't want to...

    Love my wolvies!

Thanks! I love my little beasties. Couldn't bear to part with my older one, and the newer one is proving to be a capable racer in the 4x4 Lite class. My terrain is very rocky, and 2wd wasn't even an option. I love the fact that the 450 has 2WD on the fly, that really makes it that much...

    Mixing Radials and bias tires

This difference can also put a strain on the drivetrain, and especially the "transfer case" portion of the tranny. I always replace all 4 tires with the same make / model, just appropriate sizes for front and rear. Different diameter tires WILL strain your transmission...

    Choice of Upgrades

Yes and no.. The 450's rims I *thought* would be stronger with the full rolled edges, but trashed mine in 6 months. I replaced them with Douglas Rock Stars, and they are light as air, aluminum, and hold up WAY better than the original rims. As for noticing that big of a gain, I doubt it...

    Douglas rockstar wheels?

In terms of durability, I've slammed mine on rocks, railed them on trees, and they just shear a little off rather than deform the rim. Best bang for your buck if you ask me. I ride ALOT of rocks, and these things really hold up well.

    Love my wolvies!

Long time surfer of this site, new forum member. I really gotta send in my machines specs for the showroom here. Anyway, I have 2 wolvy's, an '00 350 and an '06 450.. Both bought new from the dealer. Race the 450 in the Utility Lite class of the Atlantic Grand Prix. Love the...
