No cracks in the float. I let it sit in gas overnight with it submerged and it floats after I took the weights off. This isn't making sense. I'm about to go to stock or the z400 carb
Update. Installed starter and stator and new battery. Front wheel bearings are new as well. I took the rope out of the pull start cause the electronics are new. Just did an alignment and tightened everything since I rebuilt it. It will need 2 headlight bulbs but they do work. I'm considering...
It's all new. As long as fuel isn't getting in. It doesn't leak. Yes I checked everything possible. So what you saying is when you buy a new carb, expect to buy new parts to fix the new carb. That doesn't make sense.
So I have 2 warriors. One is an 87 and the other is a 03. My question is, why is my exhaust note louder on my 87. Both have the same exhaust and header and jetted the same.
Thank you. I took it out last night and she is tight and proper. It's a great quad and never left me stranded or broke. I'm doing the stator next and maybe extended swing arm.
The time has come to let go of my 87. I have spent many hours on rebuilding this. Ive replaced everything needed and only needs a pull start rope or a starter. The electronics work and all bearings were replaced. Asking 1200. Has maher plastic.
