I had trouble getting into 6th occasionally as well but i got my direct shifter and i never had a problem again. But my quad had moments where it would go into reverse without the clutch in as well and I never figured it out so i cant help you there.

Well i had the ol' girl on craigslist for a few weeks now and somebody came to look at it today and she didn't want to leave... The guy showed up a little early and i didn't finish putting the oil in so i finished doing that as he watched. Then i went to start it and nothing.... So i get pissed...

I paid $50 for mine but it was my buddies quad that he was parting out. But you can find them for $100 on ebay. Even if it was a $100 i would have bought it because that probably is the best bang for your buck mod i have on my quad and probably the most useful mod as well.

Not only what frit said but you can buy a brand new one for $15. Just my opinion.

That looks like a fun machne to just putt around on. Not bad at all! Sucks that you have to replace the stator tho.

I got stopped this morning and told to remove my sticker and put it in a better location... It's on the f'n gas tank. I have no idea where a better location would be then where it is now.

Do you ever get questioned by the DNR about the location of your registration sticker on #5?

I have a 150 main and a 45 pilot and when i did the plug chop it was perfect. When i tried the 147.5 like i was running before the rebuild it was a little white but not bad but when i went to a 152 it was wet and black. So i'm pretty sure the jetting is good. Where would i pick up one of those...

I had 1998yamahawarrior make me up an oil cooler which should be coming in the mail within the week and i was just wondering if there's any other ways to cool the motor down. I'm just really nervous especially after this rebuild because when i was breaking the motor in it was mid 70's outside...

It does fantastic. It was a night and day difference from the stock shock. I'm a bigger guy too (250lbs.) so the rebound was crazy good compared to stock.
