Is the ground a wire or is it and spot on those CDI boxes.

I am wondering why pooring water on a CDI box would make the wheeler get spark again.

Is it the same flywheel from a 1990 to 1996 engine to a 2002 to 2004 engine.. as I'm having to use a 1994 engine to get mine going and I did not get the bad engine to pull parts from.

This is part of the one on the CDI upgrade but I will go into more details The stator ohms out about in the middle of the specs. Coil is new but ohms out low vs specs He used to have intermittent spark sone days it would run some days it would not. I'm thinking the CDI box is bad...

I should have posted this, but it's more of a modernization of the wheeler as yes there is the one for $220 but my cousin would like to go to a later one to deal with future times when it dies. As currently the CDI box is starting to look more and more like the dead component.. stator checks...

Is it possible to change a 1988 warrior over to a later model CDI box? Would it require a different stator or could you do it with the existing one.
