    Jetting issues/sizes

We're headed to Mena in a few weeks but go to Red River Motorcycle Trails near Munster, TX pretty regularly. it's 30 miles west of Gainsville, TX. I plan on going to crossbar ranch one of these days. I'll give you a shout when we do or when we go back to lake Murray. I dig the rims and the black...

I can't hit 50 right now but I could hit 53 with the airbox lid off. It got there a lot quicker too.

I'm from Fort Worth. We went the following weekend looking to avoid the crowds and it worked. The place was empty and with the front that came through the weather was awesome. Only 4 of the campsites on the right were taken. We had three newer wolverines out there. I misread your post. I...

How'd the dyno jet kit work out? Wish I'd have seen the stock tires/wheels for sale earlier. You could've met us at Lake Murray last weekend. It was deserted.

And cant we get that nekro booted he has no clue and he has made this site welll ridiculous .This bike would barely run with a 150 main will start but soon as you gas it would just die. I agree. I'm tired of giving this prick the time of day.

Hmmm. Add bigger jet and bike sputter at hi RPM. remove air box lid and bike don't sputter at high RPM anymore. Move to smaller jet and problem go away. Sounds like an airflow problem 2 me. IE. bigger jet won't help.

Just change to the 140 and you should have a good result. Mine ran great there. I just kept going up in jet size to see where the limit was.

    Jetting issues/sizes

Why in the **** would I put in a 150 main when I can't even get enough air to support a 145 jet? All I ever hear from you is to put in a bigger jet....and you don't even have the same ****** bike! Why why would I add more fuel and make the problem worse?? Ive done it already and it did make...

    Jetting issues/sizes

I just put the 145 in to see how it'd work. I don't want to leave any power on the table especially when I already have the jet. I can't get enough air through the intake to make the 145 run right. I'm going back to the 140 for now. I have thought about moving the battery to the storage tray...

Anyone out there have an '06 or up 450 with an HMF pipe and jets?? What air filter? What jets? Any airbox mods? I keep hearing so many good results and many poor ones. Are you happy with your mods? Do they perform well? Would you have spent your money on another mod?? I have an '08 with an...

I agree it's best to know your machine, but common sense dictates that if someone else can give you the answer then take it. Surely someone out there can say they have the same bike and that they use X pilot and X main jets and have X results. I don't have the ability to ride daily or even every...

    Jetting issues/sizes

Maybe I should have removed my air box cover and saved my money on the exhaust and jet. I hear others say they're running your set up with a 150 main and works great. It drives me nuts that so many people are having problems with the same mods others have success with. I'm not going back out for...

I just did the same mods on mine a month ago but I still have the stock filter. I'll be changing that soon though. After the pipe I put the 140 jet in and it was a huge jump in power all the a way across. Then I put the 145 jet in and it had even more power, but cut out at the top. I took the...
