I replaced my one way bearing and it is still just spinning or winding. What else could I do?

Installed the same way the old one came out. I read that the flywheel is supposed to turn clockwise. Well when I put this one on it turns counter clockwise. I know I have it on right because I don't think you could put it on backwards. It has a pocket for the bearing to sit in and a pocket on the flywheel. Could the one way bearing be wrong? I hate to have to take this thing to get it fixed when I know it has to be something simple. I really need some help here.

I figured it out. When I first had this problem the first thing I checked was the starter. Turns out I put the sleeve that holds the magnets on backwards. This causes the starter to spin backwards.
