im fairly new to this site and i dont know what the karma thing means lol what is it?

That little "-1" pretty much means somebody took a crap on ya....lol. If somebody helps you out you can give them karma, if you don't like them you can smite them. That's the best I can describe it, maybe somebody else has a better answer for you.

See where it says [ Exalt | Smite ] under the Karma? Exalt increases that person's karma, smite reduces it.

Karma pretty much shows the other members how other members feel of you.
