warrior plastics

i have a 1997 warrior and i want to know why yamaha would choose to distribute the color scheme that i have.. the main color of the plastics is this gray-purple-indigo color and the secondary color is blue...is this a special edition or something or is this a color scheme that was the least expensive out of the choices???

I don't think there were ever any special edition warriors. All I can say is in the 80's up to the mid 90's yamaha had some real weird color combinations that nobody these days would even think about buying. There are worse color combinations out there.
