I see a lot of dudes set their quads up on the grab bar and stand them up so they can see the underside does this hurt anything or is it bad for the bike I want to so I can work on some skid plates but I need to know I'm not gonna mess anything up?

Nope just turn off the gas and let it settle for a couple minutes after you put it back down before you start it.

For me gas pores out the back down onto the swing arm and idk why... Makes no sence, but for normal bike it won't hurt

There are drain outlets on the carb so when you flip the quad it shuts off. That's why.

Not only should you turn the fuel off, you should also open the drain screw in the float bowl to drain the gas from the carb itself. That way there is little to no mess, and your air filter won't get saturated.
