Twist throttle cable

I have a Motion Pro Turbo. Is the cable just way too long to run beside the steering stem or is it just me not doing it right? I've been running it by the lights through the hood. Not too convenient.

I have seen that your suppose to get the turbo cable is that what your using?

Yes. That's what was on it when I got it. I broke the plastic sleeve changing grips but wasn't sure it was a motion pro when I ordered the new one. Its not a huge ordeal to take the cable out to get the hood plastic off but it looks a little goofy looping way up in the air over the lights.
