Truck update!

well it's still a toyota haha. i had alot of brake problems here a week or so back when the driver side front caliper locked down going down the road. 2 1/2 weeks later and a new caliper, master cylinder, and 4 big bottles of fluid the brakes decided to start working again. i got a full felpro gasket kit, freeze plugs, and timing kit ordered and as soon as i get it broke down to make sure of the size i'll have rings, and bearings ordered to go in it full rebuild on the engine! at some point i'll be putting a mid range cam in it and i'm shooting for a slight rough idle . i'll be taking pics! and shiz!

Nice. I want some pics. Cams for these engine are pricey. My bro has been looking at one. His build is all tore down, we still need to patch his frame.

bout $170 through LCE and they have good ****! i bought they're adjustable oil pump bypass and got it in today and it;s awesome!. i got clevite rod bearings and thrust washers, beck/arnley rings and mains, felpro complete gasket/seal set coming. almost 300k miles and it has the original rings and bearings and timing components in it yoters are awesome!

head came back off though :/ freakin intake valve on cylinder #1 stuck open the first time it turned over and the piston hit it and warped i and busted the valve guide all to ****! :/ wasn't for bad luck i wouldn't have luck at all lol

well i've bout decided my trucks gonna get new leaf springs (+3 high arch springs) and i found out i can get 4.88 danna 30 gears and 4.88 toyota 7.5 inch rear end gears. and i'll be running 33's or 35's on it XD. it's gonna take time but it'll happen! i'll probably finish the LTZ and sell it to fund this project.
