Finally found a TRI-Z that runs. Needs alot of work but thats ok, because I have it to a bare frame now. I am sandblasting the frame now. I hope to have it looking like its perfect because i have always wanted one and found it so cheap i had to buy it.

nice find , how much did you pick it up for if you don't mind sharing ?

I got a steal on it a kid didn't know what he had he asked $350 but i got him down to $240 and i couldnt pass it up.

holly **** ha ha that is a steal you should be ashamed lol. I recently acquired a kawi klt 160 trike. ITs no speed demon but is really rare do to it being released only about 3 months prior to the US banning the 3 wheelers nationwide. Its in restoration now, my question is there a easier DIY way to achieve the same results as sandblasting?

Not that i know of unless you are rich and have all the acids and other chemicals to get the stock paint off it took me like 6 total hours just on the frame but it looks so perfect cant wait to get it painted all up. keep the kawi tho they are very rare tri's it will hold its value and soon enough double or triple itself.

Funny thing is this belonged to my step grandfather that just passed and with it came all the original paperwork, the dealer included a deal for a free winchester 30/30 shot gun with purchase kinda how most utilitys come with a winch

got the frame and axel done but still have one hub to sandblast looks good tho
