im curious whats wrong with my 88 warrior, me and a friend were riding last night and my quad just died. it has compression, and the piston is fine. but when i try to start it doesnt get enough compression to start??? im thinking its the timing chain... any ideas?????????????????

oh i forgot to mension it didnt have a fuse in it??? and when my friend tried to pull start me a big ass flame came out of the exhaust???

What did it do when it just died? (sound) How did it die? (what were you doing) What does it do now when you try to start it? (sound)

i got it running=) i just let it sit a day went out and tried it and it started right up

sometimes water will hit certain areas on the wiring harness and your bike wont start untill its dried up, it used to happen to my warrior before i got a new stator.
