Stator/ source coil

So what cause the pickup coil on the stator to jut fail was out on the wolverine last night and killed the battery, at first I thought it was my starter selinoid when I couldn't start the damn thing on the trail, ( thank god for pull start ) so got it home and ran some checks and concluded my pick up coil is not charging.. But the quad starts and runs fine with a freshly charged battery.

Makes sense cause I was buried in a skeg hole lol Wish I took pics. Got a new stator on order but was just curious thanks

Uh lol sure dunno of you ever had the joy of riding through muskeg but that sh** is worse than quick sand and really no warning either lol it sucks

So is it a possibility my oil cooler isnt working the way it should

you can test it by leting it idle for a few minutes and puttuing your hand over it and see if it is getting warm

The cooler it's self the hose or the pump lol
