im looking to replace the worn out stock snifter with a direct fit to the trans. I have found a few on line but mines an 87 with the pull start on it. i have asked the sellers if it would fit with the pull start and one said no and one said yes. so im looking to see if anyone has used one with the pull start thanks

Most of the time with a pull start you would need a big bend in the shifter. There should be some pics here on the forum of some. I know Alex did it to his and seems like he used a Banshee shifter that he put a couple bends in.
