has anyone tried them out? and if so how do the work with dust and grit?

My son and I both have them and absolutely love them. I have ridden in the back of a pack of 6 on a extremely dry dusty day and never even smelled dust much less inhaled any. They come with extra filters but I have ridden all summer and still have no problem breathing thru the originals. My only complaint would be they are a little warm on hot days. In short, very well worth the money to me!

Dirt Wheels May 2012, page 64-65. Tested RZ mask and Wolfsnout mask. Article basically says both do a great job of filtering baby powder( what they used to test with). Wolfsnout has the edge On fit, and is washable, lighter weight material, and has the ability to move foam out of the way to drink from a hydration pack or a camelbak. About $6 cheaper too
