Rear carrier...aftermarket or steel?

AS in the title im wondering which one to get idk if the aluminum ones arent that strong or what but mine took a crap at silver lake sand dunes this weekend n i need a new one cuz it took the case too

Hmmmm good question I like how most the alum ones use duelrow bearings but id be worried about the constant impacts id be interested in the answer to this thread too....

If its the roundhouse honda style, aluminum, but for a yamaha I'd stay with steel.

Your talking a direct bolton alum carrier like the oem steel not the honda style

like the RAD carrier ?? looks pretty sick to me ... but i don't know anyone that runs it ... so i cant give feedback on it

that the one i was looking at, i might just go with steel cuz they are suppose to be stronger
