Raptor 660 Friction Plates in warrior 350?

I heard someone mention before about using raptor 660 friction plates in a warrior 350. I was looking through the parts microfiche and made a few observations...

A 2002 Warrior 350 uses the following part #s.

Center frictions 5Y1-16331-01-00

End Friction: 4H7-16321-02-00

A 2002 Raptor 660 uses:

End Frictions :5Y1-16331-01-00

Center Frictions: 5Y1-16321-00-00

As you can see the Raptor 660 uses the center friction plates from the warrior as it's end plates.

Since it is common practice to discard of the cushion springs I wondered if we could use the part # 5Y1-16321-00-00 for the entire fiber stack on the warrior? I believe these fiber plates have a larger surface area than the Warrior plates while also being less expensive. However I am unsure on the thickness, ID, and OD and tab width measurements on the raptor plates compared to the warrior plates. Has anyone tried this setup?

I also did some looking through the microfiche concerning adding an extra thin steel plate. From what I read in the microfiche the factory thin steels measure 1.6mm thick and the factory thick steels measure 2.0mm. The factory stack utilizes 4 thin steels and 2 thick steels.

If we just add up the height of the steel stack we get:
Factory steel stack – 10.4mm
Factory + 1 extra thin steel =12mm
4 thick +2 thin = 11.2mm
5 thick + 1 thin = 11.6
6 thick = 12mm

I know having steel on steel doesn't hurt anything, but based on those calculations I would rather just run 6 thick steels than a mixed stack to make it simple. What you guys think?
 
Well I called Curtis Sparks Racing. I inquired about using the raptor 660 plates, because on another forum someone said they had a sparks kit for their warrior which utilized the 660 plates. They claimed they have never built a warrior engine using 660 frictions.

Guess I'm on my own with trying this setup.
