i have read there are 2 new bills currently before the general assembly to ban all atvs and dirtbikes from being operated within 500 feet of any dwelling in va.....heres the kicker....it includes your own home.....the penalty for a first time offense is a class 4 misdemeanor and the second offense is a class 3 misdemeanor.....this is a bunch of bullshit....i dont know if any of you have heard of this.....does anybody know anything more about it???

You guys in VA need to get on the phone/email to your representatives. This is not the first state trying this. Oregon has several bills being presented to ban atv's to anyone under age 12. This **** is starting to get out of control.

But we live in a free country, that our ancestors died for protecting. Hopefully their not rolling over in their graves in disgust. Sounds like the NIMBYs are really becomming a problem.
The 18th amendment was passed to ban all alchohol consumption, those wacky people got thir wish that it would creat a better life, well all it did was create the mob and lots of crime. What I'm tring to say is, they can ban these things all they want, people will still ride them illigally, but that is the problem and injuiries will rise because of poor riding conditions and areas. The problem needs to addressed instead of banned.
