oil leak

i have a 87 warrior that has a oil leak and it looks like it is leaking around the starter area on rides i don't notice any oil leaking but when its on the trailer there's always a puddle of oil under it
is there a gasket or seal around the starter area that could be a problem
it doesn't look to be coming from the stater housing its dry that's the only thing i have taken apart when i upgrade the wiring to a 98 and replaced the flywheel and stator

Yes there is a o ring on the end of the starter
