A few days before Christmas I bought a 2001 warrior 350. Its my first atv and I find it to be alot of fun and alot of frustration. I bought it with a few issues and I have gotten it to the point that it is fun to ride, but if you hold the throttle open and let off, it will start pouring fuel out of the carb. If you feather the throttle it runs fine. It only seems to have this issue on occasion when you hold the trottle open and let off. I dont understand whats going on. Other than this, its a nice machine.

Welcome. It sounds like your float is sticking a bit. I would take it apart and check how smoothly the float needle operates. If it's fairly worn, I'd recommend replacing it with new components.

I pulled the carb and drained it. Then I filled it with carb cleaner, drained, and refilled. Now it is no longer flooding. I think the needle was sticking and the carb cleaner possibly cleaned the ethanol deposit. I use nonethenol gas. Theres no telling what the po used.
