I just bought this mint 00 warrior, came with a parts (94) warrior. I paid a grand, but this thing is clean! has all new stator, coil, solenoid, and a $300 rebuild able starter, big gun exhaust, tusk nerfs, and shock covers. its in very good shape.. I'm wanting to do a build on it though! I'm not sure of what yet.. but I want a decent, fun to ride, XC warrior. I will be doing hare scrambles with it, but not at a competitive level, just for fun cause who doesn't love to ride! I'm thinking, new bumper, bars, cheapest aftermarket shocks I can find, possible a arms, the pars wheeler has a durablue +2 +4 extendable axle, ill put smaller tires and beadlocks if I can find nice used ones.., want a header, shifter linkage removed(can I do the yz250 shifter with the pull start?), planning on keeping the motor mostly stock... possibly a 366 kit(or high comp piston) with a good cam and valve springs. possible port and polish? what works great to give a little more umph down low on these?
keep in mind guys, I'm only 17, I do know to use a wrench and can do all work on my own, but I'm only making about 700$ a month at my job.. it will be a budget buid! but it will be done before the first race in FEB.

Good deal, what with the aftermarket parts. YFZ front shocks will work with +2 arms, I believe. Have not done anything on the 2nd generation Warrior. Others have, though.

If you want a big bore, go for broke and contact Cycleworksracing about Greg's 400 kit. Otherwise, run a Wiseco 11:1 with the proper cam and valve springs.
