He has a 398 Stroker, and he had a 142.5 Main, with a KN filter. He was cutting out before, and I told him to put the 150 in.

He says it runs great till he puts a filter on(uni now I believe), and then it cuts out, and will not REV while riding. Pulls the filter off, and it runs great.

I told him I'd come here and ask.

He'd appreciate any input. He's a mechanic, but can't figure out what he needs to do for sure.

I'll tell him. I had him adjust his fuel mix as well.

Your probably right on the needle. It's the only thing he hasn't done.

if it wont rev with the filter(less air) and runns good with no filter(more air). He might have too much oil on the filter causing the motor to choke. Otherwise sounds like he has to big of main jet in there. which is wierd cause he is already running a main jet that is smaller the factory 350 jet. But every motor is different
