Since my front bumper was intact but tweaked, I went ahead and added some scrap pipe and 1" square tubing to the existing piece. The skid plate was mashed, too, so I beat it straight and reinforced the backside with 1/2 L-angle. Rustoleum hammered gray paint finished it off along with the control arms. With my luck the frame will probably bend if I plow into something. I may even get to ride it before spring:

whats upp with the tires? or is it the camara

I just cut off the thinwalled OE tube with the rubber ends (that were mangled), slid the upper pipe inside, and filled the small gap with a couple of weld passes. The thick paint makes up for a lot of "lack of welding talent" LOL.
