Yea they do. A lot of us did away with them and use rollers with bearing but u will have to make a few mods to make it work but well worth it.

I had a spare from my yzf450 and just made a new stud for it,bit more work but way worth it and they last a lot longer..
 
Just hate the freaking noise it's annoying

I wouldn't move the post there's really know where's to put it and if its not right you might end up throwing a chain and get wadded up in your case then your f ed.

getting a case saver from weston wouldnt be a bad idea...if hes making them again not sure.

Even then its only going to take so much abuse and it will give eventually. I've had case savers ripped right off on other bikes. Best thing to do is what me, lunaracing and tim said.

I think Bones runs the poly skateboard wheels on his, My buddy ran some on his LTR and they worked damn good if not better than most.
