should i wait to do it. or just try installing it without a torque wrench?

Ehh the bolts only take 6 lbs so I say you should be good without them. Just be sure not to over tighten cause i just snapped a bolt on the pressure plate!

dam! shitty, that sucks man. thanks for the insight though. i might start the oil change and clutch replace tommrow

Ehh I just ran to home depot and bought a similar bolt.

The big nut that hold the whole clutch to the shaft needs torqued.... I suggest getting a torque wrench to be safe, but thats just me

hey 87 i just used a impact gun to put that boss nut on think thatll b aight?

Use a torque wrench. Go out and buy one you'll be glad you did :D

Yupp yupp. Get the foot lbs wrench. I got the inch lbs and now have to do math every time. I'm bad at math.......

Your not the only one bad at math unless its basic simple stuff I am lost, I even have what I call a dumbass tape measure, it has all the little measurements printed on it, so I don't have to figure it out.

A torque wrench is a very good investment, would be good to have a 3/8 and a 1/2 inch torque wrenches never know when you have to have them. They both should be ft/lbs, though I have seen some small bolts need in/lbs.

I liked my Snap-On digital torque wrench. Going to have to pick another one of those up. If you're going to have an engine of any sort and work on it a torque wrench is simply a must have.
