I'm cooking the turkey for my wifes family dinner this year and i choose to smoke it. It seems like there are a lot of "unconventional" ways people cook there bird anymore and Im always up for something new so how do you guys do it?
 
This is the first year were gunna fry it. Heres hopeing I dont burn the house down.
 
Ive had fried, and i like it but smoking meat is kindof a hobby for me. lol fried is deff #2 for me though

from what i understand the biggest thing is to use water to se how much oil you need. I've heard horror stories of people fillin er up with oil and dunking a cold bird in
