Traded it to my neighbor for his quad. We called it the Hillbilly Swap. Turns out it was a Warrior, and so now I'm learning about Yamaha Warriors.

Only quad I've ever owned myself. Best free quad I've ever owned.

A throw back to the 300EX and Banshee days of my youths when my younger brothers were riding. Fun times.

Thanks guys. I've fixed so many years of sloppy mechanic work on this thing it's not even funny. But I can't believe the result - it's cheap to fix, easy to work on, and the engine, carb, trans, suspension all are in great shape making working on the little stuff (like stripped bolts everywhere) rewarding and worthwhile.

It's funny to think about the world when these things were first introduced... (almost?) no cell phones, PCs were just coming along, and Corvettes had 240 horsepower - the same Honda Accords had in 2003.

... and it appears with regular maintenance this thing might last a whole lot longer! Gotta love it.
