is a stage one hot cam worth the money ????

Imo, and I'm sure weston and a few others will agree, it is. We've never had any issue with ours, and they give a nice power increase. Works best with porting, like all cams do.

Web Cams website. It is a great cam, but you need hd valve springs, and hardweld rockers are reccomended. The hot cam is very close to the web .390 specs. The only noticable difference is in the ramp, which is a little fatter (not as steep), that inables you to run the stock springs. So, unless you want to "spring" of had springs, the hotcam is your only choice,

I have one in mine along with 10.25 wisco piston.. It wakes it up and revs up quick.. Can't go wrong with it for price.. Mike
