Homemade skid plates on a warrior

Has anyone done it?

yup, made a few em out of ol' road signs. just the belly skids tho. not too hard to do, but I don't have any pics of em. just trace the bottom frame, to whatever points you want it to cover, onto a piece of cardboard. Add a inch all the way around, and bend to where you have a inch or so lip all on the sides. then drill holes and mount!

Ok thanks for the advice
I made some out of thin steel and painted them black they aren't pretty but should do great. I left the stock bars below the motor for added support

Here is my skid plate. It's a little crude bus should work fine. I left he stock bars underneath for added support.
