im looking into making a set of these, can anyone tell me where i can buy the tapered bolt for the spindles? i can buy the heims and some alum or steel rods

Nope. And there is no taper on the large ones either. The tapered part is that way because of the spindle hole is tapered. The hols on the stem and the spindle rod is a round hole all the way through.

here it is! heim style tie rods with chrome moly ends for $86.78 or less if you use your own rods and nuts (no pun intended lol). im going to order this with out the nuts cause im sure you can get a better deal at lowes!

this is asuming your tie rods are 9.5" long (stock on my 2007 raptor), 250mm is about 1/4" longer than stock, +2's would be around 300mm's but you might check first. the heims are also availible in fine thread for a couple $'s more but i didnt look for fine tie rods
