I got stranded today. I don't have spark. Changed plugs still nothin. Coil? How much are they?!

Check the ohms on everything. Might be your stator.

I was ridin when it decided to die without warning. I also noticed it was hot, would a faulty CDI unit be the case? I checked all the connections around the coil but havnt checked any ohm readings..

No. It was running strong then it died. I didn't hear any noises or anything unusal. I took an ohm reading frm the coil and ground and it did have a reading

I changed and check the spark and there's nothing. My tech manual doesn't go into depth with trouble shooting:/

Check your ohm on your stator, pickup coil, and coil. Make sure they are within spec. If they are above or below they need to be replaced.

My ohm reading jump up to 152 then down to 14.

And I couldn't get a reading anywhere beyond the stator wires or w/e. the small wire harness didn't have any readings. The larger harness read 152.. It must be the stator right?! Lol

Sorry dude I was busy today... Yeah replace the stator...
