Have a 1997 warrior with a 396 stroker and cp racing piston. The motor has been rebuilt a few times for different reasons. So here are my problems.. at any consistant throttle postion gets a very inconsistant rpms and sputters . I tried rejetting it but didnt change a thing. I took out one of the plastic plugs on the case and turned the motor over and it shot oil out of it like it has too much crank case pressure. Im wondering it have some bad rings or a leaky valve. Anyone else have these problems? any suggestions?

Ok, run through everything simple first..... Air filter clean? Fresh fuel? Fuel petcock not clogged? Fresh spark plug? Valves adjusted in spec?

Then move onto more involved things like..... Check that the breather for the crankcase/tranny is not clogged up, also make sure your not over full on oil. If you suspect your getting blow by there would be fuel in the oil so check that as well. You could also do a compression test and a leak down test.

If its the little black plug on top of the flywheel cover it should not shoot oil out, however when its running with the plug out you will get some oil flung out of the hole coming off the flywheel.
