Take the weight off the front end, Use a jack or just lift and place something sturdy under it, Once that's done shake the wheel , bottom, top , sides to see if theres any play in it. Also while you have the weight off it you can check your tierods and bushings, Does it vibrate or shake any while riding??

The slight vibration could be many things such as tire pressure, to worn bushings. The popping sound when turning makes me think it could be your tie rods, Or steering stem bushings, Check the nut on the bottom of your stem and see if its loose and the castle nuts on your tie rod ends as well. Hope this helps you out, Does it only pop when turning left?? or in both directions?

double check all bolts on tie rods ,spindals, arms, ball joints and make sure the bushings are good in the arms where they bolt to the frame

Had the same problem with my wolverine. Replaced ball joint and it quit. However, yours is not 4 wheel drive so im not sure if it would be the same thing
