Well guys ive got one of the two warriors i picked up last weekend back togethor, its leaking oil from the top of the head somewhere, and im mean LEAKING! Any ideas? Head appears to be in great shape. All new gaskets (head, base, and base oring). Runs like a champ fired up second pull and idled with no smoke at all but is dumping oil???? HELP!

oil test plug loose? if you really cant see where its coming from hose it down with a can of brake cleaner when its cooled down and run it again

check both valve cover o-rings
and also check the o-ring on the cam cover
and check the cam chain tensioner gasket
only other thing is make sure the little bolt to check for oil getting to the head is snug (left side back of head) just be very careful the bolt breaks easy

Ok thanks guys ill check that stuff in a couple hours, its deffinately coming from the top area of the head so it probably is leaking from a valve cover or that bolt. Thanks for the replies ill let you know what i find out!!

Did you makes sure to install the washers under the nuts the hold the head on. The back right one is an oil passage. Without the washer it will gush oil. You may need a new one.
